Pyykkiarkki is a Finnish family business with roots deep in the forests and by the lake. Nature is an important part of our everyday lives - it is a place where we work, relax and draw strength from. We believe that even everyday choices must be made with respect for nature.

The idea of bringing laundry sheets to Finland came about when the family's daughter was living abroad and came across this innovation. She noticed how easy it was to use laundry sheets and wondered if this was how laundry should always have been. Why carry heavy canisters, first around the world, then from the store to home? The idea remained dormant and soon turned into a decision to make laundry sheets available to Finns.

The laundry sheet is truly a revolutionary invention in its simplicity. Traditional liquid and powder detergents contain large amounts of water and fillers. They do not affect the washing result, but are intended to make the product look ample and increase the size of the package. It does not serve nature, nor ultimately the consumer.

The laundry sheets are lightweight and come in a small cardboard box. With less weight and volume, emissions from transportation are also significantly reduced.

Laundry sheets make laundry simpler and more responsible. When everyday life is lighter, we have more time to breathe in the scent of a clean forest.
